We plan to convert to an organic meat business instead of organic dairy sometime in the future. We plan to invest in red devons, a heritage breed of high quality. Red devons originated in Great Britain and are treasured for their ability to fatten quickly on a diet of grass.
This is Chip, one of our draft horses, with which Dany plans to farm the land in the future. Draft horses are a completely renewable resource, unlike fossil fuels, and are much safer for the environment as well.
We may install a windmill in the future to make the farm more sustainable and less dependent on fossil fuels.
